The website is a resource where you can access advice and resources for when you use iPad's in the classroom. It also provides a number of classroom ideas for teachers and a list of educational apps that have been reviewed. The source directly relates to Learning Outcome 4 as it evaluates the use of iPad technology in the classroom as well as assessing data from The Department of Educations Learning Trial. The source also provides a number of resources which I intend to use in the classroom when working with iPad technology. |
INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARDThroughout my various placements I have always used the Interactive Whiteboard to support my lessons. I find this tool to be a great way to engage students learning experiences. All students which I have encountered over my time as a pre-service teacher how benefited dramatically from the visual and virtual display in which this device brings. Through this unit I have learnt about the overwhelming amount of multimedia resources which can now be accessed via the Internet are making the possibilities and opportunities endless! There are now more ways than ever that students can learn with this tool.
I love using this tool as it is completely interactive, it always keeps my learners focussed and on task. It is also a great tool for those students who are visual learners and often find it difficult not having a visual component during a lesson. During the unit, throughout my own independent research I came across a valuable article that explored pedagogy with IWB's in the classroom. The article provided the following key points:
